Press Release

Zombie's hand suddenly comes out and up full screen the claim: "We'll be back".
In this way it's appeared a post on Facebook by Italian Horror Fest, on a page that has been inactive for a long time. To better explain what it’s, we report the statements by artistic director Luigi Pastore:

“Five years have passed since the last edition in Nettuno but, despite the success and prestige that this Festival has conquested, especially in the heart of the public that has always shown great participation and affection, I have never abandoned the idea of retaking it again, always with the same formula of a free summer event open to all.
I decided to get back to work on project , seriously, looking for different feasibility solutions and involving a series of sponsors that can guarantee the realization of a very high level Festival.
Of course,  I’d like give territorial continuity with the city of Nettuno but I don’t exclude other possibilities.
I can't communicate official date yet, because there is a great deal of preparation to be done and a series of innovations, that will make the event even more unique. My intention, however, remains to create a more engaging and spectacular event than in the past editions, in addition to giving greater internationality with the target of focusing attention on independent Italian production. Not by chance, in fact, I have already involve an exceptional testimonial like Mr. Lloyd Kaufman, president of Troma Entertainment of New York, one of the most famous and historic independent labels of genre cinema, which also had the merit to having exported in USA several movies by Italian authors. Just for its importance, a special tribute will be dedicated to the Troma production and to his really nice and tireless creator of Toxic Avenger movie saga. There is still a long way to go, but we have already moved the first steps and will continue to do so while maintaining constant communication with the public, through social channels and the new site in restyling phase.”
